It seems to be a problem with the software because originally this problem started showing after a software update (of the AirPods Pro).

I’ve tried factory-resetting my AirPods and disconnecting them from all my devices (and reconnecting them) but the clicking noise is still there. I have had this problem before and sent my AirPods to Apple and I got replacement AirPods, but after a while the newer Airpods started to show the same problem. When it detects too much noise and movement the clicking/popping noises start to sound more like static noise. My right Aipod (and sometimes my left) is making a clicking/popping noise every time I move my head or when it detects noises (for example when I’m outside or when talking to other people). However, I’ve had a problem with my AirPods Pro for a while now. The noise cancelling and transparency mode are working great. I’ve had my AirPods Pro for a while now and first off, let me say that they’re amazing.

Thank you.ĪirPods Pro making clicking/popping/static noise Hello, Could someone please help me figure out what is wrong with them? I have tried resting and reconnecting to my iPhone XR and iPad mini 5 and pc and the clicking continues. It only happens when both AirPods Pro are in my ear and are on either nc or trans mode. Even when the left is in my left ear and nothing in my right ear the clicking stops. When both modes are off the clicking stops. It happens when they are in transparency or noise cancelling mode. What is weird is when both Aipod Pros are connected and in my ear the clicking starts. I have gone on bike rides with me Airpod Pros but the only one that went out of my ear was the right one and it works fine. I tried connecting it to my iPad mini 5 that I got for Christmas and the clicking noise still continues. I just thought it was a bad connection to my pc or iPhone XR. Yesterday when I was listening to music I started to hear clicking or popping sounds from my left Airpod Pro. I have had my Airpod Pros since black Friday and they are amazing.
