They had to do the firmware update once as well, then things started working: DP connection to old HP monitor. They measured it through, hooked everything up to a windows machine/system - and it worked surprisingly. Have done everything I can imagine to make things work, returned 2nd unit I had to retailer with my decklink mini monitor card included.
